Welcome to yet another "Random Thoughts" post. :D. I think I'll be posting these types of posts because I have random thoughts very often. Haha. :p. Hope you enjoy these posts. :). For the title, do you think I should date the post to differentiate between the posts? o_o. Or just keep it "Random Thoughts", since the date is already included within the post. :x. Or maybe I should give each post a special name? o_o. (But that would be very difficult because there is no single main idea for each "Random Thoughts" post. :x.). Feel free to tell me your thoughts by commenting in the Comments section below! :D.
Let's start this post off with the topic of basketball. :D. To me, playing basketball is similar to catching a Pokemon. (Strange, right? o_o. Well, Pokemon was a big part of my childhood, so yeah. :x.). So like on Friday, I was playing a game of basketball. And I was bored, so I shot from the half-court line. The basketball literally went in and then came out. The basket trolled me so hard. ;_;. And so, it reminded me of catching a Pokemon. Here's why. (It's easier to understand if you've played Pokemon before. :p.). It was like one of those moments where you throw a Pokeball and it starts shaking left and right. It's about to shake one more time to signify that the Pokemon is caught, but the Pokemon comes out and escapes! (Or something like that. :P.). So yeah. Lool.
Have any of you guys and qurls out there played Angry Birds before? If you have: Have you ever noticed the awkward pause/ moments of time before you finish a level? o_o. Like, that happens very often for me. (And no, it's not lag.). And it makes me feel like I'm not finished with the level. Loool. Strange feeling. :p.
Back pockets. To me, back pockets don't make much sense to me. It isn't sensible to be placing valuable items in back pockets because you can easily squash them when you sit down. Often times, big items, such as phones, fall out of back pockets when you stand up after sitting down for a while. o_o. So, it makes me wonder why back pockets are there. Sure, you can place random pieces of papers or whatnot in there. But still. o_o.
Also, I don't understand why people put their phones inside their back pockets. Like, don't they sit on their phones when they sit down like that? o_o. Couldn't that potentially harm their phone(s)? o_o. I've never understood that. ._.
Quick. What do you call a day after a holiday? o_o. Wait. Is there even a name for those types of days? Loool.
Anyways, happy belated Valentine's Day. :D.

Happy Valentine's Day of 2013. ♥. Happy Single Awareness Day of 2013. :D. Loool. How did your Valentine's Day go? :o. Did you have a Valentine? :p. Did you get a lot of candy? :o. Did you confess to someone or did you get confessed to? :o. (So many questions. Loool. It's because I really don't know what to put in this post. o_o.). Feel free to tell me about it by commenting in the Comments section below. :p.
Here's a little poem. o_o.
Haha. I thought that was pretty cute. :p. Pokemon forever. :).

Personally, I get really irritated when a teacher for my classes is unprofessional. For the most part, I've been pretty lucky, in the sense that only substitute teachers have been unprofessional. However, unprofessional substitute teachers still irritate me. I don't like it when people act like they know something when they don't know it at all. Like ugh. e_e.
One time, I had an experience where I couldn't tell whether my class was teaching the teacher or if the teacher was teaching us. Like there was this one substitute teacher who was trying to help us with a math problem. But (s)he kept doing the wrong things. And so a few of us had to step up and explain it to him/ her. And (s)he still couldn't understand it! Like wtf. And (s)he kept confusing the class because (s)he kept on taking random steps and acted like (s)he knew how to solve the problem. That really irritated me.
Bottom line is: If you don't know how to do something, don't act like you know how to do it because you'll end up confusing others.
(↑ Picture semi-related to post. It's more related to this bottom postscript note. :p.).
P.S. Happy Valentine's Day's Eve! :D. Why not have an eve for every holiday? :p. Do you have something special planned for tomorrow? :o. Feel free to tell me your plans/ thoughts by commenting in the Comments section below!

(I think I'm going to make these types of posts a new kind of series or something. :p. Since, I do have random thoughts very often and don't know where to place them in posts. Lool. Usually, I just add them at the end of a post or something. :p.).
I think I need an introduction, since this is the first post of its kind. :p. Haii everyone. :D. These kinds of posts will be a new series of posts called "Random Thoughts" .o_o. (Can't tell if that sentences made sense or not... :x.). Basically, their titles pretty much explain what the posts are going to include. o_o. Lool. Yay for self-explanatory stuffies? :p. Happening very often, I have random thoughts and I want to post them somewhere. But I don't know where to put them, so I  stuff them onto the ends of posts. o_o. However, now, I'm giving them their own types of posts. So yeah. I hope you'll enjoy these kinds of posts. :). Just one warning: They're very random. :p.
NINJA POTATO! o_o. (Told you that these types of posts will be very random. :p.).
Okay. So like, I was reading my science textbook yesterday to "study". (However, 99% of what I read didn't stay in my mind. e_e.). And then I came across this very intriguing paragraph. o_o. Here, read it:
"For example, when Earth's gravity pulls on an object, you cannot detect the equal and opposite reaction of Earth. Suppose you drop your pencil. Gravity pulls the pencil downward. At the same time, the pencil pulls Earth upward with an equal and opposite reaction force. You don't see Earth accelerate toward the pencil because Earth's inertia is so great that its acceleration is too small to notice." ~ Pearson Education Inc. Book. o_o.
Basically, it's saying that the Earth slightly (really really really slightly) moves toward a dropped pencil because of action-reaction force pairs. o_o. However, the change is so small that it's not noticeable. My thoughts? Challenge accepted. Looool. What if we all dropped multiple pencils/ objects  Would it be possible to overcome Earth's inertia and potentially move the Earth toward our dropped objects? o_o. Think about it. That would be pretty awesome. :p.
↑ This can be a powerful weapon... Be mindful of when you drop one... You know now the dangers of dropping pencils. o_o.
"With great power, comes great responsibility." ~ Voltaire.

Sometimes, waking up at certain times can be a pain. :c. Personally, I find it easier to wake up and start my morning when I wake up by my own free will. (Like no one is telling me to get up and etc.). However, during the school week, I usually my alarm clock usually wakes me up. And it just makes it harder to get up. o_o. (I'm pretty sure most of you guys and qurls out there have experienced this feeling before. :p. Unless, you've been so lucky that you've never had to wake up at certain times before. o_o.). Like you get this feeling where you're drowsy and don't want to get up and whatnot. o_o. Like seriously. When someone/ something wakes me up at a bad time, I go like: "Don't wake me up, up, up, up up, up... *insert entire "Don't Wake Me Up" song here." ~ Chris Brown. Loool. :p.
Waking up by my own free will is something that I wish I can do daily. .__. (Also, getting a healthy amount of sleep is another thing that I wish I can do daily. :x.). I always feel much better when I do that. Feeling drowsy in the morning isn't a good feeling. :c. Feel free to comment in the Comments section below to tell me your thoughts about waking up by your own free will and whatnot! :D.
(↑ Picture somewhat related to post. o_o. You can think of it as it representing dreams or something. And dreams relate to sleep. So yeah. :p. Close enough.).
P.S. Happy birthday, Abraham Lincoln. :D. Although his birthday was celebrated yesterday, today is his real birthday. He was born on February 12th, 1809. Thanks for everything that you've done. *salutes.*

(Lol. The original title was "Procrastination Effects", but "The Effects of Procrastination" sounded fancier. So, I went with that. c:.).
Procrastination.
What is procrastination? Well, it can have many meanings and its definition can vary from person to person. It really depends on who you are. But for the most part, procrastination is putting off something and doing it at the last minute. Lool. It can have many irritating effects. And it really is addicting, unfortunately. You're like: "Why do it now? I always have tomorrow." And then you keep saying that until the assignment is due the next day. And then you have to pull an all niter to finish it. It's kind of hard to fix once you start. o_o. Unfortunately, I can say that  from experience. :x. Although, I'm getting better at managing my time and finishing my homework in a timely manner. :D. Yayy.
Perspective.
Personally, I believe your perspective on things completely flip upside down when you're procrastinating. o_o. (It's easier to understand if you've experienced this before.). Suddenly, everything becomes fun during the process of procrastination. You start to discover things that you don't normally discover. Time starts to tick faster. When you finish procrastinating, everything becomes boring. o_o. Personally, I think this is because of a change in perspective when a person procrastinates.
Time.
Time seems to pass by faster during procrastination. It's like time wants to screw you over. o_o. This seems to be a part of perspective, but I wanted it to have its own sub-heading. (Is that so bad?! D:.). It's just strange how that works. :x.
Regret.

For the most part, when I'm procrastinating, I regret doing so. I question why I didn't do it before. And I make myself promise that I will never procrastinate ever again, but that never works. Lool. I always end up procrastinating again and again. e_e. Even now... GG.
Sleep.

The amount of sleep you get really depends on how much work you had to procrastinate on. For the most part, if you procrastinate, don't expect a good night's rest. :p.
Repeat.

Like I said before, procrastinating is addicting and hard to stop. And once you've been doing it for a while, it gets harder and harder and harder to go back to your normal routine because all the work piles up. And until you fix it, you keep on repeating the procrastination process... Over and over and over... For all of eternity... .__.
Moral.

Moral of the story? If you haven't been procrastinating, then don't start and never do it. Lool. Like seriously. :P.

Happy Chinese New Year of 2013. :D.  Gung Hay Fat Choy! :D. 'Tis the year of the snake. :D. What did you do to celebrate this Chinese New Year? Did you have a nice dinner? Did you get red envelopes? :o. Speaking of red envelopes, I really like the designs on most of them. o_o. Like seriously, they're so cool. Loool. I really like it when they use gold for the design on the red envelopes. Gold + Red = Nice color scheme, in my opinion. :p. What do you think? :o. One of my favorite parts of Chinese New Year is the Chinese New Year candy. c:. Normally, I'm not a big fan of sweets, but that candy is an exception. c:. Have a nice Chinese New Year everyone! :D.
Woohoo. 3 day weekend. Yay for Lincoln's birthday. :p. No school tomorrow! :D. Wheee.
↑ Personally, I thought that this picture was really cool. :o. It was an awesome idea to blend in the snake and the 0. :p. Props to whoever created that picture. :).

Screen protectors are very important, as they protect the screens of various devices. However, the process of applying them onto the said devices is such a pain. :c. Whenever I get a screen protector and have to put it on a device, I always pray that I get it on correctly. Like seriously. Loool. The process of applying the screen protector is really "difficult". It requires me to be very painstaking and cautious. One wrong move and the screen protector ends up looking  bad/ not sticking on correctly. I really don't like it when that happens .:c.
When the screen protector is on, most of the time there are problems with it, unfortunately. e_e. Like sometimes, there are bubbles that you just can't seem to get rid of.  One of those few times that bubbles are bad. :c. And sometimes, the screen protector is slowly peeling off by itself because it wasn't stuck on correctly. However, there's always that one time where you place it on perfectly and it stays! :D. Yay for those moments. I wish they'd happen more often. c:.
P.S. Happy Chinese New Year's Eve. :D.
Note: I'm sorry I took so long to post a new post. I had writer's block. (Or rather, "post block." o_o.). Couldn't articulate my thoughts. :c.

(Sorry for not blogging recently. I've been busy. :c. I am not liking this week... Just gotta survive till the weekends... 3 day weekend. ;_;.).
Omgeee. So like for a poetry project, I have to research about poems, write a poem, and recite it to the class o_o. The topic that I'm going to write about is: Potatoes. Looool. (I'm serious. For now, at least. If I can't find a better topic to write about, then I'm going to stick with that topic. :p.). Why did I choose to write about potatoes? Well, it's a random topic. And a friend suggested it. :p. Also, I want to see the look on my teacher's face when I present it. Looool. Anyone have any suggestions about what I should include in my poem? :o. (I'll probably post my written poem later. :p.). Poetry can be hard to understand sometimes. :c.
So, I've been researching about poems. And I came across this poem. I really like it. c:.

I Am Not Yours by Sara Teasdale

I am not yours, not lost in you,
Not lost, although I long to be
Lost as a candle lit at noon,
Lost as a snowflake in the sea.

You love me, and I find you still
A spirit beautiful and bright,
Yet I am I, who long to be
Lost as a light is lost in light.

Oh plunge me deep in love -- put out
My senses, leave me deaf and blind,
Swept by the tempest of your love,
A taper in a rushing wind.

So, what'd you think? :p. Feel free to tell me your thoughts by commenting in the Comments section below. :).
Potato. ↓.
Sorry about this post being short. But it's okay, right? :p. After all, a potato is worth a thousand words. :).

Happy Groundhog Day of 2013. :D. Uh. Honestly, I have no clue as to what this holiday is for. So, I'mma research about it and post some facts. :D. Yay for knowledge. c;.
Groundhog Day is always on the second day of February. In other words, it occurs on February 2nd. According to legend/ folklore/ whatever, groundhogs will can like be a sign of what our weather is going to be like. If, on Groundhog Day, it is cloudy and a groundhog comes out of its burrow, then spring will come early. If it is sunny and the groundhog comes out and sees its shadow, then winter will continue for 6 more weeks.
This makes me curious. I wonder if it's actually true. o_o. *looks for a groundhog.*. c:.
